introduction

I must start off by saying that I have tried blogging several times before, eventually becoming bored with the task of it, but picking it up soon thereafter. And though I am not entirely certain that this one will last either, I feel it is my duty to try again, if only as a sort of lame New Year's resolution. I expect that most of my entries will be related to movies in one way or another, but every once in a while I will post about other subjects. My first few entries will be pieces I have written already and I will publish some new stuff later. Here's to this hopefully-permanent blog.
